Christi-Ann Saaiman is originally from South Africa with a passion for both politics and creativity. She recently graduated with a degree in political science, which sparked her interest in gender politics and international conflict, topics she’s keen to explore further.
From a young age, Christi-Ann was encouraged to explore the arts. She spent 12 years training as a classical violinist, which opened up a creative world that helped shape how she sees and expresses herself. That love for creativity eventually led her into the fashion industry, where she’s found a space to be expressive and take a break from the fast pace of everyday life.
She’s been modeling for six years now and has worked on a variety of exciting projects with some amazing people. After moving to Cape Town in 2020, she landed one of her first shoots with top South African designer Lukhanyo Mdingi. In 2024, she was featured in Vogue Portugal wearing some of his pieces. During her first international trip, she also shot for the 2023 Diesel resort lookbook.
Christi-Ann doesn’t like staying in one place for too long. She loves that modeling gives her the chance to travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures. Some of her favorite work trips have taken her to Kenya, where she shot among wildlife and stunning landscapes, and more recently to Mauritius. Christi-Ann Saaiman has been signed with Scala Management since 2025.
